How AskThis charges, the taxes that apply, and how to update your payment details.
This covers how you pay and what taxes appear on your invoices. Everything is managed under Billing in the dashboard.
Paying for your plan and credits
Your subscription and any credit top-ups are charged through AskThis’s payment provider. Update your payment details any time from Billing — changes take effect on your next charge.
Currency at launch
Billing launches in USD. Additional currencies are on the roadmap and appear automatically once enabled.
Taxes
Invoices are tax-aware. GST is calculated and itemized where it applies, and every invoice carries sequential financial-year numbering so your records stay clean. You’ll find the tax breakdown on each invoice PDF under Billing → Invoices.
Failed payments
If a charge fails, your subscription enters a short grace period rather than cutting off immediately. The dashboard shows a banner with a link to update your payment method — fix it within the grace window and nothing is interrupted.
